Sriwijaya Air to expand fleet

Sriwijaya Air is planning to add eight more aircraft to its fleet. A company spokesman was saying that the new Boeing 737-300s and 737-400s would be used to boost existing routes and launch new services, so according to Jakarta Post. The airline is reportedly planning to boost its services from Bandar Lampang, potentially launching new routes connecting the southern Sumatra hub with Yogyakarta and Palembang, as well as increasing flights to and from Jakarta.
